Vail Village
After skiing the front side of Vail for nearly 6 hours, we found a great spot at the base to hang out and enjoy the sunny afternoon. R & R was definitely needed after such a full day. We had fantastic weather & it was in the high 30's. I enjoy beach vacations, but given the choice between the beach or the mountains, I'd choose mountains every time. However, I've never been to Hawaii, so I don't have that to compare with the mountains! I love the quaint mountain villages & majestic mountains. I ride the chairlift & can't help but feel God's presence. I love the rush of shushing down the mountain & the feeling of complete exhaustion. I wear it like a badge I've earned from playing hard all day. I am very thankful for this vacation!
