Proud to Be An American

4th of July

Lily & Sam

We had a great 4th of July!  We started out at the Kiddie Parade in Eden Prairie with our friends, the Aabergs.  Lily & Sam decorated their bike helmets & Georgia & Francesca sassed up the wagon & Francesca's bike. We hung out at the park for awhile & danced to the Splatter Sisters, a very fun group that sings kids songs.  They are a regular at the 4th of July celebration & the girls love them.  It was a hot day, so after about an hour in the shade, we decided to pack up & head to Lake Minnetonka.  We spent the day at Boy Scout Island & the kids enjoyed playing on the beach & catching sunfish.  "Sunnys" as they are called over here in Minnesota. We finished up the day doing Kevin's favorite thing--fireworks, aka blowing things up.  It was an awesome summer day! Happy Birthday America!
