Hands down my favorite season is summer. Probably because my birthday is the season opener! My birthday came & went very quietly...just the way I like it. But....I don't like how quietly summer is starting for us. The weather has been cool so far & we're off to a slow start. However, Georgia finished 1st grade this past Tuesday, so it's official: summer is ON! More proof: Our neighborhood pool has opened, we've eaten on the deck at Maynard's and most importantly, the boat is back on Lake Minnetonka! We've been out on the boat only a few times; Mother Nature is holding us back. We'll make up for lost time I'm sure.
