Little Lady is 6
We started the day out with balloons everywhere, thanks to Daddy. He did not disappoint for Francesca's birthday. However, Francesca was totally dialed in on the decorating caper because before she went to bed she said dead-pan, "I better get to bed early so Daddy can put balloons on my door." The kids have come to expect it! Still, she was totally thrilled for her day when she woke up. Some things Francesca likes at 6: pancakes for breakfast, chicken nuggets for dinner and she loves ice cream w/ whip cream & sprinkles. She is very attached to a few articles of clothing, so she wears them a lot. Her favorite is a lavender skirt w/ fringy balls going around the hem. She wore it yesterday, otherwise she'd have it on today. She likes her clothes to fit tight so she's wearing mostly size 4 even though she's 6. She still loves her purple blanket & she's very hot-blooded so she sleeps with her blanket only. Many times after school, she strips out of her beloved skirt & dons a swimsuit. Yes, even in November. She likes gymnastics & she's frequently standing on her head or doing somersaults. She has a heart of gold & a soft spot for Addison, but she loves to pester her too. Francesca adores animals & if she could have a dog right now, she would choose a Chihuahua or a yorkie. Francesca is so amusing, full of antics. She keeps me on my toes though with her stubbornness. She chooses her wardrobe & as long as she's got her body covered, I don't care if she matches. Most days she does not & that's a battle that I won't fight, not yet! I'm picking her up at 1/2 day today at school & we will go to her favorite restaurant for lunch, The Original Pancake House. We're having a family party tonight & a Build-a-Bear party with 6 friends on Saturday.
